About Anji

I’ve dedicated my career to supporting students and families—beginning as a first-grade teacher and later transitioning into the field of school psychology.

For the past 13 years, I’ve worked as a school psychologist in Denver-area public schools, partnering with families and educators to:

  • identify student needs

  • create individualized support plans

  • provide social-emotional instruction across elementary, middle, and high school settings

In my roles as a special education team lead, IEP evaluator, 504 coordinator, and mental health provider, I’ve worked closely with families to advocate for the right tools, environments, and strategies to help students thrive.

As a parent myself, I’ve also navigated early intervention and school choice decisions—experiencing firsthand the challenges and rewards of finding the best educational fit for each child’s unique learning style.

In recent years, my work with twice-exceptional (2E) students has deepened my focus on executive functioning skills. I’ve seen how bright, capable students can struggle when organization, planning, or flexibility don’t come naturally—often leading to:

  • emotional breakdowns over seemingly small things

  • needing everything to be perfect

  • nightly homework battles

These challenges affect not only your child, but your entire family dynamic.

I’m passionate about helping children and families feel empowered through practical, strength-based systems and supports.

My goal is to equip students with the executive functioning skills they need to reach their full potential—and to help families find clarity, confidence, and balance along the way.
